Please don't be too sad! At least they're old? I don't know. Don't be sad! I'll make up for it, promise!

(Also? Thank you! :))

Beautiful, Bobbie. Just beautiful. And even though the pain of loss pervades everything here, I must admit that all the details of their lives together warmed me.

Thanks so much for writing and for sharing.

Thanks, bb, that is what I was trying to do. It's so sad but I wanted it to show that they always belonged together, wherever that may be and that their whole story is a beautiful one, even at the end.

Excuse me while I cry my eyes out at work. This was so heartbreaking but lovely at the same time. It really hit me that they were together all those years and that made it so much more touching than tragic. If that makes sense.

The end was just perfect. David holding a picture of them when they first met and the little detail of him still wearing Converse sneakers after all those years just got me. And he doesn't wake up. They truly were soulmates and the song worked beautifully woven into the story. *wibbles* :(

Don't cry at work, oh my gosh! *hugs*

Oh gosh, thank you so much for your comments. Everything you pointed out were the most important points to me too. Hee, and I couldn't resist Archie still wearing Converse even when he's old. I don't know, I liked the idea of that. *sigh*

But yeah, you got everything right on the money. I love when that happens. ♥ Thanks again for reading and commenting and making me feel amazing. :)
