Oh my God!!!!!!! I want to keep reading : )

--Daphne and Ron: their conversation was perfect. I love that Daphne has some of that Weasley spark in her.
--The family as a whole reads very cohesively. I definitely believe that these people are part of a family and this is how they act with each other
--Hermione: her entrance was perfect and amazing and of course Daphne is clever enough to do all this by herself but perhaps not clever enough to outsmart her mother ; )
--Jokes: the jokes about Ron's love life are perfect and exactly the kind of thing his siblings (and Harry) would do

Very excited for the next chapter :D

Thank you hun!

Really happy you like the family dynamic. This chapter has been written so long the first draft existed before Rowling made that family tree, so all the kids had different names, genders etc and there had to be a load of rejigging - this is the post I made about it at the time!

Gah! Cliffhanger!

I loved the interaction between Daphne and Ron, and the entire assembled cast. I think the part that most touched me was that Ron put his daughter above giving time for Ginny to tell Harry first.

Looking forward to hearing from Hermione and finding out teh story there . . . ;)

Thank you! Glad you liked that bit. I think that Ron has spent a lot of time with kids and understands how it works in theory but not having raised Daphne he doesn't have that protective instinct - it's something that he has to remember to do, rather than something he does without thinking about it. And I think he's very used to slotting into Harry and Ginny's lives and not necessarily having his own thing going on.
