[ Lightning tends to be comically loud whenever she's going down stairs, but today... the measured footfalls of her boots on the steps of CH4 are much more careful- for once, she's making an effort to be quieter than usual as she's heading outside.

Unfortunately, the young, fluffy black dog accompanying her is not quite as studious about it- the thumps of his feet are punctuated by his heavy breaths: a sort of hah, hah, hah, with each step he goes down.... ]

[This small animal thing is going towards me I'm not sure how I feel about this-? But no, not really. The noise catches Cameron's attention from the feet of the staircase Lightning happens to be coming down with the dog and-]

[ Lightning pauses when she notices someone below her, Baldr a moment later when he realizes that it's someone he doesn't know. But before the puppy can so much as wag his tail in greeting, Lightning takes the steps between them with alarming speed, catching his collar in a familiar gesture, half-crouching on the stairs to do so. Only then does she really look at the guy - and male is her assumption, considering she's a freaking Final Fantasy girl and totally used to effeminate men. She pulls the puppy along as she moves to the side, expecting Cameron to just go on past. ]

Hey. [ Her expression remains blank- she's careful to pay attention to the people she runs into, especially inside the building, but that's about it, here. Not exactly friendly. Baldr, however, has other ideas- ]

Or well, sie's not used to fighters, but this person is capable-seeming, maybe even a little intimidating. And then sie remembers the animal spoke too. Breaking eye contact with the person, sie looks to the animal and repeats-] Hello.
