I haven't done a show in months... and now we have a big dinner show tonight. It is either going to be totally awesome or totally HORRIBLE, and I have been feeling sick and queasy since I woke up this morning.

( Right now, I am leaning toward the horror option. )

The house fell through one day after the inspection. The inspection turned up only one major problem, but it was a MAJOR problem: pooling water in the crawlspace under the house. The sellers accepted my bf's offer! He got the house! We're all (him, his parents, his future roommate and me) going out Sunday for the inspection. I'm so happy! This is a wonderful thing for him and it's not a half-bad thing for me either! ;) He's gonna need a lawnmower and some gardening shears to trim things and such, though... housewarming ( Read more... )

The bf and I had grand plans to cook great things yesterday, but wound up ordering pizza instead because I forgot to marinate the pork chops. So last night we put the pork chops in marinade, and left everything else for today. Olive oil, soy sauce and lemon pepper, and the bf cooked them in the cast iron skillet. Last night, my company sponsored a night at the Seattle Symphony.
