Seriously, I'm - <--that close to throwing my iPhone 3g at the wall. I got the 3g on July 29th, less than 3 weeks ago. I woke up this Sunday & my phone was fried, it was on the charger for maybe 5 hours, which really isn't THAT long since I would constantly charge my old Sidekick overnight & throughout the day with 0 issues. Well, it was red hot

Rick got an iphone last year after he lost his blackberry. he's always been stoked on it but i HATE it! i really hate the touch screen on it it's either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. and his always freezes and shuts itself down and it can't hold a charge. pretty obnoxious.

that sucks :( I've heard good and bad things about the phone, but since the new one released I've heard nothing but bad :(

I had some major issues with mine, too, but I have the older version.
Apple was really great, AT&T gave me the run around. They had to swap out the phone. Luckily, I had backed up my phone a few days earlier so I had all my contacts saved.
No problems so far. But I think I read a news article yesterday about there being some defective batteries or something?
