I have no idea and it's starting to drive me insane with all of this life or death. But Nathan implied at the Comic Con Castle panel that it won't be happening anytime soon, or even anytime after that, at least if he has anything to say about it.
Seriously!?? Uh, everytime they do this intense 2-parter craziness I think they'll FINALLY stop dicking around. Especially now that both Castle and Beckett have stopped denying their feelings (at least to themselves) I really thought there was hope.
What was Nathan's implied reasoning? Was it like he doesn't want it to happen cuz he's in denial that those characters are supposed to get together or is it more the fear that getting them together will ruin the show? (Which I think that's a cop out, and by the end of S3 I hope to be able to say "RB was strong enough to do it! HA" lol)
You can see his reasons for not wanting them to get together here. It's also addressed in the panel footage from last year somewhere but this is sorta an all in one location answer
