Just home from the Idina Menzel concert. Overall, thumbs up. This was the first stop on the tour, and it was a small venue (Portsmouth's Music Hall). I see she did a concert version of Chess. That's likely the best version of Chess to see - I agree with how Chess was characterized in Title of Show - Which was 'a mess'. Just a wrong-headed idea to try to musicalize the geo-political implications of a chess match. What were they thinking?
