I think my biggest problem with pro-lifers is that they're total hypocrites...'cuz 9 times out of ten, these same assholes are also pro-war and pro-death penalty.

Honestly, I think the issue is more about controlling women than actually "protecting life".

hey, I said "9 times out of ten".

I agree with you there, about controlling women, in a sense. My thought is that with all the care and concern about protecting the "baby", whether or not it is in fact a baby yet, they forget about everything the woman has to go through, and the concern of what's best for her in the long run. I could bring countless scenarios, including some where the pregnancy of the woman could really endanger the well being of the future baby because of the kind of work that she does, or not being able to get routine medical care or vitamins, and in that case, it may be best not to go through with the pregnancy. The choice should be of the mother and the father, not of a stranger who doesn't know the situation

I don't think it should be illegal for the sole reason that I hate to see these goverment restrictions upon a persons personal life. Frankly, I'm suspecious of anyone who has such a firm belief in something, such as whether its black and white- right or wrong. My problem is that I've seen so many poeple from so many backgrounds at this point I actually HAVE to see and kinda/sorta understand how someone can feel the way they do about issues. The one thing I'm deffinate about is that its wrong to force others to follow your view point.
