For taxlady and valdelane , here is a TEN MINUTE rendition of the folk song--with the words at the bottom so you can try to sing along with the crazy Faroese. taxlady may be able to figure out what the lyrics mean if she can see them. Faroese is the bastard child of Old Icelandic and Irish Gaelic so pronunciation is peculiar indeed. -

The musician's name is Agatsuma Hiromitsu. I just heard his piece "Fun" on pagan radio and had to look him up. I like this sample better because it's just him and he's awesome:
