I didn't get what dmckilli meant when he commented on Russians taking over LJ. I thought it was a reference to all those Russian LJers who come in and friendlist you for no reason you can determine because you can't read Russian and neither can I anymore. (I did once ( Read more... )

I'm...wondering...what I'm going to do about LJ. I don't know if I'll re-up my paid account.

Neither do I.

I'm watching and waiting to see how this one turns out, especially as I'm not comforted by the "security" measures they've put into place lately (ie, ability to flag) and their whole "LJ Advisory Board" thing they've got going on over in lj_2008.

Dude, that totally looks like the Cher impersonator that MC'ed at Lips the night of my birthday party.

A few people have told me of the sellout now, including yourself, so I just HAD to log in to see if it was true.

I don't like this one bit, which of course lights the fire under my ass to get the domain site up.

As much as I'm dissatisfied with LJ BS, including interpersonal hooha, I think I'm going to *try* a Greatest Journal account as I'm pretty sure it's set up similar to LJ and yet is less popular. I see from being on the site on another tab there's 100 userpics with a free account. Oh dear Gods.

I'm going to *try* it but there's no guarantees I'll remain on the blogosphere. I'm shooting you an e-mail with the name of my GJ account.
