btw, Zac Efron is not hot.

Why does no one tell me important things about shows I have set my mind against watching.

No one told me Kurt participated in a diva-off (also, he sounds kind of awful, wtf reminder of why I didn't want to watch it) or that Kurt is almost as ridiculous as Joe Jonas. This is almost as impossibly horrible as when I'm sitting there watching HSM3 and ( Read more... )

I LIKE WHEN YOU'RE ON DEAR_MUN AT 2 AM THOUGH.

I also like how I am getting more Adam Lambert and more Lady Gaga AT THE SAME TIME. Music is returning to the days of androgyny and sexual freedom and LOTS OF GLITTER. And sticky-on lightning bolts. It's like the eighties all over again but with fewer legwarmers. DON'T ASK ME TO MAKE SENSE.

Actually I kind of think Efron has gotten hot.

I was never a fan of HSM and never thought he was particularly good-looking, but oh trashy magazines and their "sexiest men alive" articles...

I think that article was kind of stupid.

So you've got this:

Oh, of course those articles are stupid. I'm just there for the pretty pictures. :)

Apparently what I meant to say was "Zac Efron cleans up good, if and when he showers and has someone else dress him in reasonable clothing" (point b sounds exactly like one of my favourite comic characters, on a nice little aside).

Whatever pop culture, I'll be over here going "OMG RDJ YOU ARE SO AWESOME". Because his faces, THEY ARE LOLARIOUS WIN.

It's like a cross between a popularity contest and a male beauty pageant. :D

Zac Efron is kind of like Robert Pattinson for me. :| Not good from a lot of angles and usually needs to brush his hair but otherwise okay. Except Robert Pattinson admits he's not pretty from all angles. Zac Efron is kind of just. A giant tool.

RDJ. Just. Man. So gay in the new Sherlock Holmes and it makes me very happy.

That's pretty much how I watch Glee.

Also...why is my brother being blamed for this?

That's why. /nods solemnly

I wouldn't have even looked at Glee after it assulted my eardrums if it weren't for Belltrap.

Ah. Okay, then - you're perfectly welcome to blame him, then.

I do have to admit though: he's right - it's a pretty gay ship.

I tried to resist it, too - although, for some reason (despite the aforementioned eardrum-assaulting), my a cappella group is obsessed with it.

yes, I am queen of obscure-ass Disney characters. mydragonandi December 8 2009, 01:42:12 UTC
I never said it wasn't gay. It's just his fault.

So that's what I'm doing over Winter break. And there will probably be awful fic involved. At least it's not a nice fandom I'm horrifically ruining as per usual.

idk. All I know is that nowhere in anything I've seen does Kurt not assault my eardrums.

See, I wasn't even going to read this post because Zac Efron was in the title (and I have no idea who Kurt is), but I had to watch the video because "cute boys" and "Shakespeare" is one of those combinations that just makes me pay attention. That having been said, that video clip was amazing. Where can I find the movie it's from?

It's called Were the World Mine and you can buy it (or the soundtrack) in iTunes. The movie is like 15$ and the soundtrack is like 9$ or so.

Were the World Mine is what happens when you take a musical bus and a Shakespeare bus, crash them together, add in some prep school kids for good measure and sprinkle glitter all over it. Lots of glitter.

And if I could make everyone watch this movie, I would.

It's so cute. ;_; I've only watched the first hour so far because I reeeeeally need to get to sleep, but it's adorable. And that clip in your original post is definitely my favorite part. I've watched it about ten times already. It's just so great and happy and full of booty-shaking. The glitter is a definite plus, too.

I wish I could just watch and enjoy the movie without constantly worrying about all the existing relationships broken up and the ethics of making someone fall in love with another person. Unfortunately, my brain never stops working. Hopefully it has a nice conclusion to it.

I PROMISE IT'S A HAPPY MOVIE.

And I promise that, like in Midsummer Night's Dream, everything gets fixed up at the end. Actually, my very favourite part is the last song but that may just be because I seem to have a soft spot for Zelda Williams.
