Bureacracy sucks when you're just trying to get by. :P I'd try to get an appointment with the first Dr. - if only to tell her that she's really got to CALL her patients. :P

hey man,

while i dont have much advice to offer in respects to getting doctors to pay attention, other than extreme persistance, i know what its like to be an adult with adhd. so if you ever want to talk about it, i'm game.

Hey its Taleese, I know it was forever ago and probably didn't seem like a big deal to you at the time but I wanted to thank you so much for leaving that comment back in December in my ADD post.

Last night I finally got the nerve to seriously do something about it so I sent that entire LJ entry and your comment to my parents last night and I told them that this could no longer be ignored.

So today they told me if I felt that passionately about it we could have me tested. They called my doctor and I have an apointment to start it all this week.

So yea, I just wanted to thank you so much for what you said. I'm finally getting some help, and I owe so much of that to you.
