Oh, I like this very much! And yay for you dipping your toe in the cestpool! ;-) It's a really intriguing relationship, one I enjoy trying out permutations of in my fic. It plays upon that thing we all crave: a love so deep with someone who knows every bit of us including our faults and loves us anyway, a love so eternal it's in the blood: unshakable by anything save death. That's at the core of cestfic and by crawling into Don's head here you've had him glimpse that truth rather than just accept this is just what he and Charlie do.

I hope you decide to give his pairing some of your precious fic time again in the future. I like how you write them and would love to see you do more with them.

For now thank you for writing a series based on the January prompts! I was beginning to think I was the only one who wrote month series. /grins/

Nicely done. Bravo...

P.S. Of course you don't get a handbasket and an invitation to Special Hell until you actually graphically write them having intercourse, you know. /very ( ... )

The minute I saw these prompts all lined up, I knew I had to write Charlie and Don, and then suddenly is was 'cest. And a mini series. :)

I like how you write them and would love to see you do more with them. I had so much fun writing them, that I think more Don/Charlie is inevitable.

P.S. Of course you don't get a handbasket and an invitation to Special Hell until you actually graphically write them having intercourse, you know. /very evil grin/ I'm working on that whole nc-17 thing... maybe I'll practice on Don and Charlie. *grins*

Yeah, the prompts were definitely pointable to the ethics of incest, especially Don angsting over it. I was hoping someone would pick up on that.

Well, since you like Colby you could write a threesome? Don/Charlie/Colby? I can see Colby dreaming about sex with Charlie and then Don comes in and oh my, he thinks he has to choose between the Eppes men, only he gets both instead? Hmm... Happy Colby sandwich time. :-)

Oooh! I love thinky fic.

:) It's delicious to see how he sees Charlie here, too - I think we'd all love to have someone feel that way about us.

Excellent work! More please! :is greedy:

More please! :is greedy: I had such a blast writing these two, finally, that it's just a matter of time before I write more. :)

Ohgosh, yay!!! /loves when people delve into the wonderful realm that is Eppescest/

This was *great*! More than great! Eeee.

My favorite bits:

He and Charlie weren't just brothers or lovers or friends, they were a complex, mind-boggling combination of all three.

This is what I feel the core of Eppescest should be seen as. The boys *do* have a complex relationship, and because of that, it makes it easy to see them both in this kind of situation, at least for myself. Perfectly said.

It was here, in the early morning calm, with Charlie softly explaining that he could prove that one plus one was greater than two, that Don knew that nothing could ever tear them apart.

This was just too sweet to ignore! It made me go 'awww' in a way that not a whole lot of fics do.

Lastly, the whole last drabble. Bravo! I loved how you illustrated the parallels between the two men - and with such great, descriptive words! The last line really packed a punch, too. <3

Welcome to the club, dearie! Hehe. Thank you for sharing. :)

I'm was so surprised, yet pleased by everyone's reactions to this!

This was *great*! More than great! Eeee. Thank you!

It made me go 'awww' in a way that not a whole lot of fics do. Hee! Glad you liked- this little series has a couple of schmoop-y moments that I just couldn't resist.

Lastly, the whole last drabble. I so glad you liked it. I re-wrote that section three or four times before I was fully satisfied.

Thanks for reading!

I really liked this. The only thing I'm not sure of is the part about Charlie not being as confident as Don - I actually think it's the other way around (looking at the show, rather than fanfic). Don does a great act of confidence, but it's actually Charlie that never even seems to consider that he could be wrong, and who, as early as the Pilot, walks into the FBI unannounced and pins his map over what's currently on the board and erases somebody else's work from the whiteboard without so much as a by-your-leave. And I'll never forget the episode "Structural Integrity" and how completely stunned and puzzled he sounds when he admits to Don that Don was right and he was wrong.

I agree completely with Charlie's confidence about math- I was talking about everything else-- but as it is a drabble I couldn't quite fit in "in things other than math."

Thanks for reading! :)
