Well then.
Soooo, the whole protest thing was a bust. The rest of the students gave into authority and took off their jackets after being told to. By the end of the day, I think I was the only student who was not told to take off their jacket. This seriously suprises me, because I had all of my "horrible/mean/strict" teachers today.

It's a pedagogical tactic. It doesn't mean you are unnoticed, they just want you to stop by your own will and spare everyone trouble.
