Lucozade (we have different incarnations over here) + 2 painkillers before bed and you'll be good in the morning. That's my hangover prevention. It helps because I find that after a heavy night of drinking I sweat a lot more while sleeping than normally.
What I always do is put a pint of juice beside my bed before I go out. It's always double strength squash - as much sugar as possible. I ALWAYS wake up about 6am when I've been out (a mix of dehydration and overheating) so I down that, go back to sleep for a few hours and wake up feeling a bit iffy but generally ok! I don't tend to get headaches, just really dehydrated and nauseous so painkillers wont do much good. Thanks for the tips though. I'm just getting oooooooold. :(
