so i've decided to stop writing my nano novel. i am thirty-five thousand words into the fifty thousand words and have decided that actually i am not happy with what i am writing; not the quality of it, i was well aware that, in writing fifty thousand words in the space of a month, those words would be awful, i am just not happy with the content. i' ( Read more... ) -

i'm doing national novel writing month (nanowrimo/nano) at the moment. it's day seven, and i've got around 10,000 words so far. it's really not very good but i'm enjoying doing it. i'm thinking, if i can manage to write 50,000 words in a month, then maybe when i go back to uni (hopefully next year) the workload and essay writing shouldn't be too ( Read more... ) -
my lemon drizzle cake recipe...
4 oz butter
6 oz sugar
2 eggs
6 oz self-raising flour
zest of 1 lemon
4 tbsp milk
juice of 1 1/2 lemons
4 oz icing sugar
preheat the oven to 180 degrees. cream butter and sugar. beat the eggs in a separate bowl then add to the butter and sugar, a little at a time, and beat in. add the flour, a little at a time, and fold in. add the lemon zest and mix ( Read more... )
