Synopsis: Aoi and Shou have split personality disorder. What happens when parts of themselves hate and love one of the other, when the main individuals themselves are not aware of their other identities?
“Isn’t Aoi a really nice guy!?”
“Sure he is Shou. He actually pays attention to your nonsense.”
“That’s mean Pon! You mean you never cared about what I said?”
“Of course not Shou! You know I never mean things like that. I won’t ever ignore you.”
“Yeah you’d better not! I won’t know what I’ll ever do without you.”
“Now now what’s this insecurity again? I’m not going anywhere Shou. I’ll always be right here.”
Shou smiled. He let out a sleepy yawn and curled up on the bed. Pulling the quilt over himself, he closed his eyes. “Goodnight Pon~”
“Rest well Shou. We’ll play again tomorrow.”
But even though Hiroto said that, his mind was not at ease. How could he be after he saw that cut? Uruha was still around. Despite what the other guy said - Hiroto couldn’t recall his name, Uruha had still shown himself. That worried him immensely. For 2 years, Hiroto had wondered about Uruha. About whether he was still there, about whether the other person was still treating him like dirt. And now after 2 years, Aoi himself came into the picture and befriended Shou.
Hiroto had to scoff at the irony of it all.
It was a situation that could render one to either laugh or cry but Hiroto could only stare at his hands let complete helplessness take over him.
As he drifted off to sleep, Hiroto pondered when Aoi’s next visit would be. As his and Shou’s subconscious simultaneously gave in for the night, the last thing on Hiroto’s mind was Uruha with a bandage around his head, sitting upright on a white bed with a silver frame, slicing his wrist open with the rigged corner of a broken pen.
