I don't feel loved. I feel OWN'd!

It's official, Marvel hates me.

If that's not personal vendetta, I don't know what is!

Civil War ended NOT the way I wanted, WWH will most probably end the way I definitely don't want it to end, Steve is still dead, Sentry still gets forced down our throats as OMGBESTTHINGEVAH!, Sally Floyd is still alive, Providence blew up, Cable and Deadpool ( Read more... )

marvel, wildstorm, dc

The thing with Ollie still makes me laugh.

The rest sucks though.

The thing with Ollie makes me go WTF?!comic books! mode. There were 400 other ways Dinah could take him down without killing him. His death is either fake or a sloppy job.

Which is part of why I think it's so funny. It's like Dinah went" Oh no, I'm being attacked better do something. Being a badass martial artist I could easily disarm and subdue Ollie. Nope, better not, this call for an arrow through the neck!"

To make it worse, that "Jack Harkness=Billy Kaplan from the future" plot

What?!

*spontaneously bursts into puddle of squee*

That is the most awesomest of awesome ideas ever. EVER.

I got the idea back when CW was still in roll. I just thought about an awesome way to end it and thought "what if Torchwood came and helped Cap win?". It evolved enormously since them. Torchwood members got superpowers that would make Sentry piss himself, Jack turned out to be amnesiac Billy that now has his memories back and turned into Midnighter meets Doctor Doom (just much nicer and doesn't want to rule the world, just revenge and maybe tap Namor's ass... he's still a bastard though) and yeah, the whole "anal Skrulls" thing was there before it turned out to be an actual, real truth.

Sadly, goes into "is never going to be written". I tried. I failed. Rest assured though, it has a (semi, kinda) happy ending.

See, this is why, while I still read some comics, overall I much prefer manga.

And now it seems like DC is going to kill Pied Piper. Gah.

Reading American comic books is like being in an abusive relationship - you know it's bad, you know he won't change... and yet you stay, because you LOVE him and you hope, and you still remember the good times.
Except with Wildstorm - it's BDSM all the way and you know you want it!

If they as much as touch Piper they are dead. Mark my words!

Please, not Thor. He has so many things to do before he dies... again. ;_;

Namor's not dead. The preview for the next issue pretty much says as much.

The preview takes place "5 days in the past". In the present, as I've been told, Namor is having an autopsy :/

There's a different preview which has Tony and Reed talking in the present. Reed says that the bones don't match Namor's DNA. You can the page here.
