I still love the blooper picture. But I'm always surprised by Deforest's skills as bad guy. Looks good in westerns.

It's funny; I've always enjoyed reading TOS fanfiction and K/S was a favorite. Something about the last movie really got me hooked on the idea of K/Mc. Maybe because we actually witness how they meet and become friends while Spock and Kirk start out on the wrong foot, to be sure. Movie Kirk also looks younger and seemed less sure of himself than TOS Kirk, so I could see him reaching out to/relying on a friend like Bones. Their friendship was always obvious in TOS, but it did not get the same kind of screentime that the K/S friendship did.

So yeah, old ship, but definitely new and exciting for me. : )
