PSA: Facebook/Twitter Reposting

I'm reposting this here for any of you who, like me, do not want this stupid reposting facebook/twitter thing, whatever it is. I don't want it and I know a lot of you guys feel the same!

This does not actually disable the ticky boxes at all, it just doesn't display them anymore to people viewing your journal in your style. But many people don't do that. I don't do that for example because I choose to display everything in the site style. Others view pages in the light style or with mobile styles etc etc. It may reduce the number of people seeing the ticky boxes, but this does not do it for everybody.

This doesn't work for every site style/custom lj layout. And as ratcreature stated, only works if people are viewing your layout.

Thanks for the heads up, as I hadn't known about this workaround yet, however, please LJ cut this and next time ask mod before posting something unrelated to the subject of Kirk/McCoy.
