Thanks alot for making this! I'm looking foward to trying it tomorrow :] I think Im going to use a harry potter photo though, because it has a really nice result to the red bolt from the wand!

i would love to try it out but it has selective coloring but ill see how it looks without selective coloring

ahh that's one of the problems for non photoshop users. =x You can try to make the same effect with a color balance layer instead...it wouldn't be the same but color balance can make the colors at least similar.

erm well I'll have to try it. it's on my other computer which isn't accessible at the moment. But... try increasing the blues & cyans in the shadows and the reds & blues in the midtones.
