Yeah, I'm actually surprised that NBS has stocked on The Hunger Games Trilogy. But it's also a good thing so I won't have to resort to buying the books online. Sayang nga lang the paperback versions won't be out until next year. I'm still waiting for that...or the U.K. covers. The hardbound version is really expensive and it's not even as pretty as the international covers. But I digress.

The Hunger Games is an awesome read. I can hardly put it down. I have a few complaints (like I thought the whole love triangle was unnecessary) but they didn't really make me enjoy the book any less.

Oh, by the way, I discovered just now---belated happy birthday! Hope you had a great one.

Finally finished up the first book, now I'm trying to figure out where I can possibly get my hands on the second. I agree about it being too expensive T_T The prices I see all fall at around Php 700+ and my parents are totally against me buying them D: Just you wait, I'm gonna earn my own money real soon!

Is romance one of the trilogy's main genres? Having read the first book I only have a vague idea of where Peeta and Katniss's relationship stands (which part is real and which is only pretense? No wait, Katniss' is pretty clear since it's told in her POV after all but what about Peeta's?). There are friggin' hints everywhere but I'm having reservations with my assumptions and- and it's driving me crazy! ...or maybe I'm just slow at picking things up OTL; And wait, so there really is a triangle? I thought I was only imagining it. Or again, I may just be too slow. DX

Thankies! Yup, I had a blast :D

Php 700.00 is really heavy on the budget. T_T Last time I bought an expensive book was a few months ago. It was around Php 900.00 and it was Inkdeath, which is really ( ... )
