[So after seeing Shouryuu for the April 1st curse and having his memories messed with during the last curse, Enki is feeling a strong pang of homesickness. Thus he's gone to Xanadu because it reminds him more of En. He's resting underneath the cherry blossom tree with Yokuhi, his nyokai.

And he's sound asleep beside her.]

[ Tyki sees a lot of odd things around this place, but nothing quite like Yokuhi. Coming from the other side, he can't quite see Enki - just the strangeness of the nyokai. So, casually, he breaks the pattern of his daily wandering to stroll over and peer interestedly. ]

[And Yokuhi turns her head to peer back, blinking once at the strange visitor.]

[There comes one Glory-King jogging on Xanadu, carrying a her sword and jewel. She stops, a grin tugging on her lips. Slowly, she approaches the sleeping Kirin.]

Hey! Enki!

[kirinofen]

[Heartattack is go. He practically jumps ten feet in the air though he never quite makes it onto his feet. Instead he rolls off Yokuhi's lap and onto the grass. Yokuhi blinks.]

Gah! Youko! Jeez... Way to scare me to death.

[Smiles. Pleased by his reaction. It's weird to see En Taiho taken aback when he's the one who randomly shows up.]

[He flops back down on his back, staring up at the sky.]

You still scared me either way... I'm beginning to think it's your new hobby. Let sleeping kirins lie next time.

[[ooc: ffff ifail at explaining stuff. My idea for that AU was that, at the time he "arrives" at the City, it's been a looooong time since Shouryuu died. And En is currently in ruins. Still. So he's all emo and quiet and sort of... hesitantly trying to find a new ruler. But it, clearly, is not working out too well. Since it's been so long. lulz]]

[Rao had, in spite of herself, become almost fond of Xanadu. It was similar enough to her own world that it reminded her of the future she had planned for it - and would return to carry out, dammit. She can see Enki from here, and Yokuhi too, and although the strange-looking creature surprises her, it doesn't frighten her. So she slowly approaches the nyokai, trying to appear nonthreatening.]

[The nyokai turns her head and gives the woman a curious look. She studies her for a moment as if trying to decide whether or not she's a threat. Then she smiles and touches Enki's shoulder. This wakes him up almost instantly.]

Huh...? Oh...

[Smiles calmly a short distance away, not wishing to crowd Yokuhi.]

Hello, Rokuta. I'm sorry if I've disturbed you.

[It takes him a moment to place who she is and when he does he smiles brightly.] Oh! Hi Rao! No, you didn't disturb me. I was just resting.
