Interesting dream snippet from last night. In a generic fantasy setting, I was traveling along with a large migration of mostly unrelated people, destination unknown. With me was a good friend who looked kind of like Kousaka (Genshiken) or possibly Quattro (GundamW). For some reason, there was a mysterious character about who had a deadly

Um... /reverse-bladed/ forks? That may be the part that totally blew my mind.

Yeah, innit great? A little misleading, since the times I saw them in the dream, they were basically just large forks with a sword-like edge down one side of the business end. But I also knew in the dream that they were definitely called "reverse-bladed forks". Maybe the blades were on the "wrong" side or something, I dunno.

i was imagining prongs curved in alternating directions (up/down/up/down)... if you stabbed someone they'd probably rip out flesh when you pulled'em out. nasty.
