*scanning the tumbleweeds* anyone still here?

So it's finally hit the point where my friends' page here has no entries because nobody I follow has posted during the time period it covers. Most people who are still posting anywhere are crossposting from Dreamwidth anyway. So just one final check... is anyone I know potentially still posting here and not there? Otherwise I guess it's time to ( Read more... )

I actually need to figure out how to crosspost from Dreamwidth. But it's not like I've been writing anything lately anyways.

I really miss when this was a vibrant site where I could reload 2-3 times a day and expect to see new stuff.

It's really, really easy.

Not that DW is all that active, but it beats LJ.

Check.

I'm only here because I did the DW import thing, and have some vague intention to go through and rescue pictures that are only on the LJ server.

Yeah, it sucks that there's just no very active platforms right now that competently fill LJ's old niche. Then again, I almost never manage to make the time these days to write long-form content in any format, so I'm part of the problem. :|

Yeah, I have one person on my reading list posting just on LJ.

I have some posts to make (crossposting from DW as usual), but haven't really had the spell slots to get around to it. Including a year's worth of photos.

I've gone to Dreamwidth, but it has the same problem that no one posts there, so I don't read it as frequently, so my first post is always to FB, and then I don't always take the time to repost there (or here). With LJ's new policy that I don't agree to, I don't really use this platform for posting any more.
