Yesss, you remember Life Force! Paul and I played the hell out of that game and I have Extreme Nostalgia for it, but I don't talk to many people who are familiar with it.

It was pretty much My First Shooter(tm). In fact I think that and Gradius 3 for SNES are the only ones I've ever bought. Unless you count some old Mac games, but those were more Asteroids and Space Invaders clones, which are a different beast. Oh, and there's Star Prince within Retro Game Challenge for DS, which is pretty awesome.
