Yeah... so... Clay Aiken announced he's gay. Big surprise. Now parents are protesting because they don't want to explain to their kids what being gay means. Just tell them it's boys who want to date other boys or girls who want to date other girls. You don't even have to bring sex into it.

Just like telling kids what a cannibal is will make them want to eat people.

I dunno. Ever since my parents allowed me to watch Silence of the Lambs, I've been very interested in nomming on human flesh. THOSE PARENTS MAY HAVE A POINT.

I only watched a short clip where Couric asks something like: "What magazines or newspapers did you read to keep up with current events before you were nominated for VP?" And Palin, like a trooper, says: "All of them."

BECAUSE ALASKA'S NOT ANOTHER COUNTRY, KATIE! SHE'S DOWN WITH WHAT THE KIDS ARE TALKIN' 'BOUT THESE DAYS!

Couric's face was priceless as Palin just kept answering: "I've read all of them. All of the relevent ones. I am completely up-to-date." She turned aside and made this face like: "Yeah, whatever, bitch."

Yeah, I've heard about that one before. I think it's mentioned in the SNL skit too.
