Saturday I was at a childhood friend's wedding. Danny Miller and Jenn Baker. It was sweet. Reception was nice too. The fire hall was decorated pretty. Cold, rainy weather though. :/ Sad.

I started off disliking it intensely for the 'perfect Edward' issues... but then I came to accept his 'flaws' as a bit more genuine.

I can see why it has such a huge gaga fangirl base now.

I liked Edward... he's just too perfect. It's hard to see how he can grow.

I haven't read much of #2 today... been reading my news magazine instead. Gotta know if the world is blowing up yet.

It's not so much how he grows, but it's how we get to see more of him instead of the super smarmasaur that he is showing to Bella. By the end of the second book you have a much better grasp on his character and by the end of the third you sit back and realize just how little you knew.

... I missed reading so much. ;-;
