I'm curious to know which self-publication system you're going with. Lulu?

Well I've just had a hunt about on their site. It looks good in that they don't stiff you for huge set up fees, but it does seem that the books are produced in the US, so would have to be shipped from there and therefore incur extra cost.

They do have a UK version of the package that arranges the ISBN and partial distribution for about £80.

Shipping three books costs £5.25...

Number crunching will have to happen once I have a final word count and number of pages. But I am gathering info in the mean time.

I'm not seeking to make a huge profit, breaking even is a necessity as we Have No Money, a small profit would be a delight. So Lulu is definitely on the possible list due to the lack of set up fees and fact they there is no minimum number of books to order up front.
