I'm making apple pie tonight. As of right now, I've got the pie dough chilling in the fridge and am procrastinating slightly on prepping the filling. Fortunately, though, we do have one of those nifty peeler-corer-slicer things, so I don't have to prep the apples completely by hand ( Read more... )

It's funny. Cordials will always make me think of him. Apple pie cordial especially. Funny nights with the SCA and hanging out with Joe and company in college. It's hard to think it was so long ago...

holy crap Ringo! It's been like...forever. I don't even know if you remember me. Lynisha. Was in anime club for a semester or so before vanishing into the cosmos. Sorry to attack out of the blue, but I was pleasantly surprised to see your name and p.s. love your icon.

Haha, it totally does. To be honest, I only remember ringo as your name, that you were friends with sara and once commented that my drawing style reminded you of hers...and something about okonomiyaki no baka.

I've been good. Graduated from HSU in '06, lived in Japan for two years after that, now in grad school in SF solidifying my drawing abilities. How about you? Heard from Sara lately?

True definition of bitter-sweet, yeah? I'm sure your pie was extra delicious from all that bonus love. Ironically, I had a sort of apple pie thing for dinner tonight. It was a grilled cheese thing with apple pie filling randomly. Tasty...but odd.

Working on your ficlet, but it keeps wanting to turn itself into a fic so I apologize, that always means more time.

Hmmm, Lyn-ficlet-turned-fic... yeah, I really can't see anything bad about that turn of events. I am patient. Lyn-fic is always worth the wait. And, I mean, who wouldn't be willing to wait for Wufei?
