Yep, the new laptop is working out well. Just updating it and installing stuff in between researching for papers and writing my first resume. It's nice to be able to be social *and* be on the computer at the same time ( Read more... )

Also, I totally bounced when I read about the ice cream, because I also got a pint (like a week ago) and thought it was tasty (and now gone).

Shakirah rec'd her diploma for her med.asst.course on Sat.,but didn't attend the ceremony. She's planning to re-enter the paid workforce by Sept.

On Sat.I ushered for the Aurora Chorus spring concert,Well-behaved Women Seldom make History. It was so wonderful to see chorus members and friends and give/receive lots of well-wishes and hugs.

I'm planting basil,tomatoes,lemon cukes and zucchini in the garden. We had 4 days of wonderful weather; we are so sun-starved. Making more summer plans; lots of stuff to look forward to.
