Almost done with app for American_Dirt, but...

Holy shit trying to find a good idea for a Native American name is hard. Especially if the character in question isn't from a really well-known tribe, like Apache or Cheyenne or something. Trying to find a good reference is insane.

You know, my family name is Native American and it doesn't seem like it at first glance. Mainly because it got shortened from Man-Sits-On-Walls. Maybe you can take something like Running Water or some cliche crap and shorten it like that?

My family's Cherokee, which isn't exactly a small tribe or unknown, so I'm not sure if that'll help much.

Yeah, a lot of sites list the "official tribal" name, and THEN the translation... but the name itself that they give may only work for one or two tribes, not Native Americans as a whole. I think I'll just stick to the translation/meaning to make it easier.

...Although I am debating over the name "Harvest Moon", because it is apparently a plausible name and he's a farmer and...

...okay, mainly because it's Harvest Moon . You should appreciate the lolz. XD
