This show continues to surprise me, which is actually kind of hard to do (or so I like to think). The whole Jeremy Bentham thing first had me thinking "new person," but then when they wouldn't say his real name, I started thinking it was actually Christian. So the pan at the end had me all, "yeah yeah, okay, of course Jack broke in to see his dead dad, blah blah boring OMG IT'S JOHN." And now I really want to rewatch the old seasons and squee a lot because omg YAY, a show that actually gives a shit about continuity! *throws fire at BSG*

Also, how fucking badass is it that FOUR SEASONS LATER we finally get a rational/scientific (!!!!!!!!) explanation for OMGWTFPOLARBEAR. That, my friend, is the definition of what makes a fucking badass tv show.

I thought if it was going to be any non-Locke character, it might be Lapidus, since he was a conspiracy nut from the get-go, and might be the most likely to break ranks and try talking to the Oceanic Six about going back. But mostly, I figured it was Locke or Sawyer back at the end of season 3, and once Locke became the leader of The Others, I assumed it was him in the coffin. Especially since other than Ben, who is the one dude who loooooves him some Island?
