So I went to the GLOBE SERVICE CENTER at Park Square 1 at the Ayala Center in Makati to ( Read more... )

I used usb mode switch please see my blog entry regarding it

http://kirby-agudelo.livejournal.com/144087.html

all it does is make the usb modem switch to its modem function. after being able to do it, your system can connect to it like a regular modem

Re: globe usb e1553 (in Bacolod)

i was going to purchase the globe tattoo usb at a little cell store,
however after asking about connections and signals,
the worker scared me away... by saying....
"yeh yeh yeh, all good, works fine, great deal, many people use it"

so i decided to go to the globe store.
they gave me the same answer. (much nicer though)
so i decided that it must be tru, n bought one.
however it didnt work, well it worked so slowly, it drove me insane !

after returning to the store, i was told globe has only one tower for 3g
n its located at the mall on the other side of the city.

and after explaining that i told them where i lived n what i wanted to do n how to use it,
they just smiled.
n shrugged !!!!

i went to smart, they sent a rep to my work n house.
he plugged a usb into my laptop in both places n let me try it out.
so i bought a smart, n it worked PERFECTLY.
