In my never-ending quest to link every social account I have on the internet, I wanted to start publishing my public LJ entries to my
Facebook notes. This is simple enough, Facebook gives you what you need to do it (either through RSS or some other LJ voodoo), it's not really difficult at all

...actually, I'd kill for a way to filter all the automatic twitter digests out of my friends list. I really don't need to know that at 8.34am someone said "hey, my muffin is nice"... if i did, I'd join twitter. Arriving on average 12 hours after the original comment, it tends to be trivial (duh, twitter) and nonsensical without context. And as of this week, each post appears to come along with a cookie request from a different host, so you can't just say "no, i don't want to accept cookies from twitter"

I wasn't trying to argue with you about how you read lj either, I was simply ranting about something I think is a problem with lj - but I didn't use an amusing rant tag at the end, so I guess that was why you took it as me wanting to argue. :P
Nor was I wanting to argue about what browser you use. I was just trying to point out a cookie setting that you may have missed in what ever browser you -are- using, which may help with the cookie problems you indicated you were having. I just happened to mention what I think is the best browser at the same time. :)
So, I used a social medium to present a few points of view that were different from yours. I am sorry if you took offense at anything I said but I didn't think I put any of it in a particularly vitriolic way.
