I'm still going with "sexually abused victim cured by Loooooooooooooove and seeeeeeeeeeeeexxxxxxxxxx" and rape as a plot point, myself.

Yeah, that's what I was going for -- the relationship with Shirou was important for her, but ick why was it that he wanted her body that gave her a sense of worth and drove her to snap, why couldn't we have gotten more of the sisters issues and resentment and awkward attempts at reconciliation before the very end there? I like that Rin's the one who gets through to her enough that Shirou can do his thing without getting instakilled, but ugh gimme more sisterstuff please.
