Ahhh this post has the even sadder eyes open version at the end. Thanks for posting here on LJ too, it's so much nicer to be able to comment directly, especially with a set of art like this that deserves extra love! I really think I'd have been able to follow a story (maybe not precisely the right story) through the art alone - and each of these pictures fills me with a delightful sense of melancholy. They really are beautiful!
I haven't read the fic yet, but this artwork is gutting, the shellshocked look on Dean's face, Sam laying there, his beautiful hair across his face, the cabin. Just UGH. Amazing work.
Thank you♥ I'm glad I was able to get those feelings across. I recommend definitely giving it a read when you can. Just be ready for angst and tears. ・(/Д`)・
This is wonderful art for this sad, sad story. I am so grateful to have found this! The devastation on Dean's face is just gut-wrenching, as are the lovely scenes of Dean holding Sam's body -- rubbing his bloody thumb down Sam's cheek. Guh! The scene in the greenhouse as Dean waits for winter to end and spring to come again, and then the lovely scene of Dean lying on the ground (on top of Sam's grave, I think, if I remember the fic?) Just gorgeous. Thank you!
T^T yeah, Dean's laying down on Sam's grave there. That fic made me cry some good angsty tears. I'm glad that I got to give a little of that back with the art.♥
