Today I watched Alias Bart Maverick which introduces Cindy Lou & Gentleman Jack Darby for the first time. It was my 1st ep with Darby but my 2nd with Cindy Lou (I had watched Passage to Fort Doom previously). Modesty Blaine is in season 3, too, isn't she? I never liked her.

I don't think I've seen any of Samantha's episodes. I'll have to rectify that. Chemistry is always a big draw!

Yeah she is in the Cats of Paradise ep, but it's a different actress. I am not even sure if it is supposed to be the same character or not.

She's okay so is Doc but when you compare them to the earlier supporting characters they come off way short in my opinion. Cindy Lou & Darby aren't quite as strong as Samantha & Dandy but still fun characters in their own right.

But yes watch the 3 Samantha eps. They are all worthwhile and Samantha is a great female character. She's a crook but you can't help but like her. Diane Brewster was great in the role too. I don't understand why they didn't use her more.

I thought she was also in the episode where Bret is on a ship and people start dying a la And Then There Were None.

I think you are right but I have not seen that one yet. Although it is coming on Encore so I am recording it. I wonder what actress will portray her.
