Anime of the Year 2013

Well it is not quite the end of the year but since all anime I am following have finished (not counting those that are ongoing) I figure I might as well do this year now.

Sorry for the lack of comments--I've been terribly busy with work and the holidays but I've been enjoying your posts about Japan and anime! ♥

I agree, Shinsekai Yori was an amazing series! I loved the moral complexity of it, and I think Squealer was an absolutely fascinating character. It was so thought-provoking and intriguing. I'll be watching Uchouten Kazoku as well once I get some time to do so!

Naturally, Chihayafuru season 2 was wonderful. I really hope there will be a season 3 at some point! And Wolf Children is really one of my favorite movies. I enjoyed Attack on Titan and Free! a lot as well, and will check out your other honorable mentions.

I think this was a great year for anime. I hope 2014 has as many great series as 2013 did!

It's okay I understand everyone is busy I am too. Sometimes I wonder why I still post here though because live journal itself is so dead.

And yes definitely check out Eccentric Family, it's really a great series. It is only 1 cour so not very long either. :)

I still enjoy your posts, at least! I do miss when LJ was more active, though...

I will! I have it ready to watch, I just hope I can find some time soon. :) It comes highly recommended by you and some other friends I trust, so I'm pretty sure I'll love it!
