I love Thursdays

Even though I do deeply miss my Natsume Mondays and Taichi Chihayafuru Tuesdays" Thursdays are definitely making up for it with 3 awesome shows.

Sakamichi no Apollon & Tsuritama give me so many feelings and then I just laugh hysterically with Shirokuma Cafe. And I just realized all 3 of these series focus on friendship to some degree (especially ( Read more... )

I miss Natsume Mondays and Taichi Tuesdays too! ;_;

But yeah, Sakamichi no Apollon is great (though all this love drama was starting to get annoying). It's the only thing I'm watching this season, cause I just don't have time, but I'll try the other shows once holidays start =)

I don't really like the whole love triangle thing in Sakamichi either (although so far it hasn't been that bad). But I like that the main focus seems to be on the relationship of Kaoru & Sentaro themselves.

I don't really care who gets with who in the end...I just want those two to have a good end. :)

It's not a triangle, it's a whole pentagon XD

But yeah, I don't care either, as long as Kaoru and Sen have awesome bromance X3

I know what you mean about Fate/Zero. I mean, I was expecting dark shit and all, but it's getting so exponentially depressing and some characters keep getting dirtier in their schemes. I think I'm still on the train because I want to see who will win/survive in the end and I'm too lazy to spoil myself with the novels. Plus there's this train wreck syndrome where I'm left wondering how much I'll shake fists and yell "DIRTY! THAT WAS SO DIRTY!!!" at the screen on the next weekend.

Meanwhile, Thursdays are puppies and nothing hurts (much).

I mean to Fate Zero's credit I think it is interesting but I just don't feel connected to the characters to care about them (and I have a feeling my favorites will be out of the game soon).

At least for me there is point when everything is too miserable that I just can't bother.

Gen Urobuchi is an interesting writer but his view of the world is very different from mine I guess.

But yeah Thursdays are full of happiness for me. XD

I really do like Sakamichi and I think this paired with Tsuritama is the best double feature of noitaminA in awhile for me. I really enjoy them both because I think they are ultimately more about friendship (even Sakamichi with the whole love triangle business).

Of course I have to admit I do like Kaoru and his character type and of all the characters to me he has had the most growth in the series (although Sentaro is my personal favorite).

Sakamichi is definitely rushed though but I think that is more the fault of the producers only giving Josei series 1 cour. I think Watanabe is doing the best he can with the material though.

As for Sundays I am only watching Uchuu Kyoudai but I do love it a lot and I am happy it's going to be a longer series. :)
