Hotarubi No Mori E~A Trailer

OMG the Trailer...I love this story so much. And besides FMA Brotherhood this is the first time in a long while where I read the manga first. But I already know it's one of the most beautiful stories ever...short, sweet, and incredibly poignant. Hopefully the anime will do it justice but then I mostly have faith in the director and studio.

I think of it as more bitter sweet than depressing. It was a sad ending but it was also sort of beautiful to me too. Whereas a depressing ending I would get nothing sweet from it.

It was definitely my favorite of Midorikawa's short stories (but I only read the ones from that Volume of short stories).

maybe we'll see it next year?

Probably, it just seems so far away though....
