Well it was a pretty uneventful Halloween. I didn't dress up or go anywhere and not a single kid came to the house. My main complaint, as you can tell, was with the ending, too. XD; Especially since the point of the ending in the book is Erik's repentance, and that... never happened here.
...I still want to do that blurb where young Louis sees musical-verse Erik's face and *that* is what causes his phobia of blood...

As for the ending it's disappointing but I really liked most everything else about the movie that it didn't really ruin it for me so much. Or I just choose to ignore those last few minutes. But it's not even just that it was a different ending, it's not a very good different ending. That's the main problem for me. But as I said above Lon Chaney was my favorite thing about the movie.
I read your review: Raoul & the Mustache, I also think that was the popular style back in 1925 as well. XD
I had seen the musical once some time ago but only recently read the book so now I think I get some references better in your fanfiction. :)
