Akira Kurosawa on TCM

It's here it's finally here (sometimes I am happy to live in the US & to have Cable) :)

Anyways TCM will be showing 26 of Kurosawa's films every Tuesday in March (starting March 9th). Here's the full scheduleAnd here's the really awesome promo: I do wish the promo would have shown more clips from his contemporary films but it still got me excited

I'm super excited about this because *gulp* I haven't seen any of his films.

Oh he is such an excellent director so you are in for a treat (well so am I since there are so many of his films I have not seen).

Of the ones I saw my faves are Rashomon, Seven Samurai, and High & Low.

But I've also heard very good things about Stray Dog & Throne of Blood. :)
