And your honorable mentions are absolute love.<3 (I used to think I was the only one who adored William Holden).

I am always glad to find other people who love Fredric March (mainly because he doesn't seem very well known now adays). :)

And I assume William Holden has quite a few fans. I love him for the films he did with Billy Wilder the most, especially Stalag 17 which he won an Oscar for. Although of course Sunset Blvd is also very memorable.

Frederic March was an amazing actor,imo. It's really sad that he's not better remembered today.
I love a lot of "forgotten" actors.:)

Stalag 17 is one of my favorite movies.<3

Mine too I love it. It's like a more dramatic version of Hogan's Heroes. ♥

I've only seen Widmark in supporting roles so I don't have much of an opinion on him but I totally agree with you on Ray Millland. I love him in The Lost Weekend and Dial M For Murder. In fact I liked him so much in Dial M For Murder, I sort of wanted him to get away with it. XD

And I have not seen "The Uninvited" so I will have to look into that one too. :D

Always good to get new classic movie recs.

Cary, Jimmy, Fred!! You have great taste. I also love William Holden. He was excellent in Sunset Boulevard. I love Humphrey Bogart too.

Of course I guess Cary, Jimmy, Astaire and Bogart are relatively big names but I think they 100% deserve the star status they have obtained. These guys were giants and tough acts to follow.
