I just started watching it a few days ago and so far I'm really liking it, still need to watch episode 11.
I wonder if this is going to be a new trend with remaking shows from the 70's, last year Terra e and now Casshern.

Awesome I am glad you are enjoying it :)
In general there seems to be a lot of remakes. Not just from the 70's but in general. I guess people who grew up with these series want to take a shot at making an adaption.

I haven't seen a lot of Tohru Furuya but I think he is fantastic as Casshern. I am also enjoying Toshiyuki Morikawa as Dio and Mami Koyama as Leda.
Now, I would love to see someone do this with Gold Lightan. ^_^
It definitely seems like a lot of shows are being remade now adays. I feel bad because I have not seen the originals.
And you should post more on the Casshern AA thread. I didn't even know you were still watching it. But I am glad to hear that you are. :)

Well I always say even if it seems everything has already been said there is always room to say more. The more participants on the thread the better.
But that being said I hope from that last comment you are planning on reviewing this. :)

Episode 3 was also the episode that got me into the series since I wasn't sure after episode 1 & 2. And I have loved every episode since.
Seki Tomokazu was in the last episode and he was awesome.
