After episode 10 Natsume Yuujinchou has replaced Kaiba as my favorite series of 2008. Sure it's not anything that original or exciting, but it's just so sweet and peaceful. I can't help but love it

AAAAAH *runs around in circles* Must watch latest eppy! The show is so damn GOOOOOOOD ♥ it's sad that there are so few shows I'm keeping up with. Soul Eater might be the only other one.
Your icon is my OTP (of course there'd need to be some growing up first before hey hok up but ♥) It's not a very showy anime which is prob why it doesn't attract so much loud squees. But you can't help but quietly appreciate the awesomeness of it. The ending song has grown on me so much and its just beautiful *_*
Yeah, CG and MF are some which I've put on hold since I'm not all that keen at the moment.
I'm worried about Bonen because while I AM watching it, the plot still doesn't seem to have picked up and if the entire show goes at this pace, I'm not sure if its going to GET anywhere >_> It just feels like it could have been tighter. Still, its different and that's why I tune in ^^
Ha Ha I think I like their platonic relationship too much to ship them but gah when they hugged it was the cutest thing ever ♥ :)
I agree with you about the Bonen plot or it's more that the plot confuses me. But I do really like the characters and their interactions. Although I have a feeling since it is 26 episodes the plot will start coming together after episode 13 and they are building up the world and characters in the meantime.
I see a lot of comparisons with Mushishi actually but I think its an unfair comparison. It's definitely not on that level. However that being said this series has its own heart and charm. :)
I think people compare it to Mushishi because of the whole supernatural thing and the fact that is episodic. But personally I feel the comparison is superficial and Mushishi is really on a whole other level.
It reminds me of a better version of Mokke (which is a similar anime I dropped last year). It takes a very light and heartwarming approach to youkai stories. It's just very sweet. :)
Awesome let me know what you think. It's not the most original or groundbreaking anime but it's just really heartwarming. And I think the episodes improve as they go on too. :D
Natsume is battling with Sekirei as my fav Summer 08 anime, I just love it. Ishida Akira in epi 9 was love. I saw your icon on AS, its so cute!!! Im gonna make Natsume icons some time next week, I need some.

I am watching quite a few series but for most of them they are entertaining but not anything special to me (like Macross and Code Geass).
I am really enjoying Bonen No Xamdou but I am wary because it's just starting and could really go anywhere.
