And this time instead of sharing someone else's video I am sharing my own. I've wanted to do this video for a long time actually. I can't speak for the content as someone who isn't really familiar with Avatar, but I hope you don't mind if I give you a few general AMV pointers. :) It certainly wasn't bad for a first video, but I'd just like to point out these sort of unspoken guidelines that a lot of AMV creators use ( ... )

Thank you for the feedback. I definitely wasn't trying for a professional video and this wouldn't be something I would enter in a contest or anything of the sort LOL. It was just for fun and I am well aware of a lot of the problems you mentioned. Like the logos I was too lazy to figure out how to upload my DVD rips (which is the only way to get rid of the logo) but then in general there are very few videos in the Avatar fandom without the logos. Avatar fandom is well behind the anime fandom when it comes to making videos. Not that this is an excuse to make a not as good video but because of that I didn't feel like I needed to worry about taking them out.

he video could have used a little more lyrics-synch as well; where you find images in the series that fit with the lyrics. Actually that was pretty much all I was trying to do with this video. LOL (I wasn't trying to match the beats of the song at all ( ... )

No problem! And yes, I know, I went overboard. XDDD I have AMV OCD or something. There's certainly nothing wrong with creating a video just for the fun of it without worrying about technical difficulties, though. :)

And I think it's completely possibly it was all lyrics-synched, but I didn't know because I'm not familiar with the series, characters, and situations portrayed. I meant to say that and then forgot. XD

Well you did give me things to think about like less use of characters moving their mouths and maybe picking a faster song next time. Because I think it would be easier to handle scene transitions with a faster songs.

Beautiful. :) I really enjoyed watching it especially since I've been missing Avatar lately. (I was enjoying some Kataang picspam just last night XD) Thank you for sharing the video with us. Is this really your first AMV? XD
