Nodame Cantabile and Gurren Lagann Stuff

I finally finished the Nodame Live Action Paris Specials Today (I am not even sure how long its been since I watched the first half) and they were really enjoyable. Maybe not as good as the TV series but still lots of fun and there was loads of development for Chiaki/Nodame, way more than I expected

I just watched the Gurren Lagann music video was so adorable! Awww, it made me really happy. :D ♥ I don't consider myself a huge Viral fan (I like him and think he's a great character, but I'm not obsessed with him or anything), but I "Awww!"'d out loud when he hugged his catgirl. So much adorable in this video.

Now I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of them!

For awhile Viral was my favorite but Simon sort of took his place in my heart. I still love Viral though. XD

Now I really hope they do a present day one that would be a lot of fun.

Don't know, dude. I'd actually watch an anime like that (except I believe a videogame would fit better, and I'd so play it) even if it WASN'T a TTGL canon AU. Then again, might be my years of a Legend of Zelda fan kicking in.

Then again, the original didn't impress me that much so... ^^;

Well for me its more that I like originality in the worlds. Like while I love Lord of the Rings I dislike fantasy stories that are lazy and use the same world as Tolkien.

So I think that is why I don't like most RPG type stories because they are all the same to me (unless it is a spoof like Slayers...that I enjoy). But in this case I just liked seeing the characters I already love have a happy ending.

I own the first 9 volumes of the manga and I plan to start collecting it again when it finishes in Japan but I haven't been keeping up with the scanlations. I love the J-Drama and I strongly recommend it. For me it's the drama, then the manga then the anime in the order in which I enjoy the story. :)

i agree i think the drama is my favorite, than the anime, than the manga... only coz ... well... i enjoy seeing the MUSIC part of the story XD

I'm not into Gurren Lagann but I have to say, Viral and his catgirl remind me a lot of Fakir and Ahiru (grumpy knight+adorable animal girl). That alone makes me melt. &hearts Kinda wish they'd make an OVA with that I wonder if there's fanfics for that scenario, hmm.

Viral and his catgirl is really cute. I think it is because you don't expect someone like Viral to fall in love so when he does it's like awwww. :)

And I admit I did sort of have that same feelings with Fakir.
