I was never really interested in anime blogs until I found Memento but now that it hasn't been updated regularly I guess I am going through blog withdrawal or something. :)

Oh it's not really the adaptation that's the problem for me. I am just not into the type of series.

Random Curiosity is sort of a team. There's jaalin and some other dudes there I think apart from Omni though it used to be only him ( ... )

I never heard of either Iwa ni Hana or AniPages Daily so thanks. They both look pretty interesting.

I am starting to see a lot of bloggers praise Denno Coil so it makes me happy. Btw did you see Denno Coil is nominated for an award?

No problem. Iwa ni Hana is run by a person I sort of know a bit online. There's some pretty insightful stuff there. AniPages Daily doesn't always touch on anime and some of the stuff seems really irrelevant to an ordinary anime watcher, but I think it's worth at least getting an idea that there is actually that sort of background to anime production (anyone who thinks old anime = Tezuka and that's it needs to read his latest post).

And I did hear about it - it's a damn shame Mononoke didn't get voted by the public (or perhaps it's out of the date range? But Red Garden's relatively older...) I don't really think DtB belonged in that list though.

Oh yeah and what the hell, Moribito's not there either. Although I've hardly seen Terra e, I can't see why that can get there and Moribito doesn't. I guess not enough people have watched it, because it's aired on satellite (but Mononoke is aired on public TV... whut, but the sheer effort they put into the show and its general sophistication deserves an award.

Then again I don't even know how "controlled" this award is, you know, like perhaps Aniplex/Dentsu pulling a couple of strings and getting two of their shows in the lineup.

The thing with all these Key/KyoAni shows is that all the female characters have the same damn face. At least in Kanon you could tell the characters apart, but from what I've seen of Clannad, it creeps me out. O__o Alas, I keep looking at screencaps anyway because KyoAni's background art is gorgeous.

Memento used to be my favorite blog too. Too bad he's starting to lose interest in anime. D:

I also started checking out Star Crossed because he/she watches less popular shows, but yeah...I have the same problem. (I mean I like Bokurano, but no way do I think it's one of the best of the season.)

Random Curiosity is a team. Omni just posts the most often, and all of jaalin's posts are on the shows that I would never want to watch. :/

I think Kita ze Inbou! (http://kzi.animeblogger.net) is a pretty good anime blog. My only real complaint is that the screencaps are so small.

It's not even the character design that bothers me so much with these shows (although yes that is part of the problem) but I don't like how they depict female characters in need of protection. I hate how they act like little girls with their weird uguggs and gaos or whatever sound they will have them make for Clannad.

Thanks for the blog link.
