Random Anime Thoughts~ Mainly Denno Coil

1) As many now know School Days and Higurashi were cancelled due to a violent act of a 16 year old girl killing her father with an ax (I don't give a damn about School Days but I was a little bummed about Higurashi seeing as how I just caught up with the series. Just my luck. LOL

The Geneon thing scares me because I love what they were doing with the Hellsing Ultimate DVDs; the steel case, the dub, everything. I'd been looking forward to the 3rd DVD in October..... D:

And I feel so cynical about the fact that Death Note will be on Adult Swim by the time we finish watching it in Anime Club. >:/

I wonder if other companies will take up the licenses if Geneon is indeed finished. They had to know they were having problems well in advance of this so they shouldn't have licensed all those series. It's a slap in the face to the fans who were planning on collecting them. :/

It seems like a waste to show it at your club but I guess there is always the sub VS dub thing.

In the back of my head I want to imagine Takeru is Nekome's younger brother. Heh. I dunno, but I do think he's talking to Nekome. Some people thought Takeru's talking to Isako, but I wouldn't see why Isako's interested in Kanna, while Nekome knows all about her and kids who meet that fate.

I think Isako and Yasako could have been such good friends too, if only Isako wasn't so confrontational/stuck up about herself. Yasako probably was just in denial that she was there though, because she thought it was something people don't generally talk about... she didn't even want to believe her own memories at one point after all. Also - word on the soundtrack! I love that one too, a pity it's not on the OST

Takeru does look an awful lot like Nekome so that isn't a bad guess. I don't think Takeru was talking to Isako but I did think maybe they were both talking to the same mystery person or organization.

For some reason I always got the impression that all the kids would work together (especially Isako, Yasako and Haraken) against something more sinister. I did read that Yasako finds out was Isako is up to and runs to tell Haraken. Isn't what Haraken doing also dangerous? Although in Haraken's sense I think it will be more dangerous to himself than on a larger scale.

And then there is the whole thing with Kanna and Yasako being able to sense old space. I wonder if Yasako will be able to save Haraken or Isako with this ability. Or Yasako and Isako will team up to stop what Isako has done. Somehow I feel what Isako is doing and what Haraken is researching has to be connected.

And maybe they will release a 2nd OST.
